Another quick, early morning sketch.

Blog-goodness has begun!
Another quick, early morning sketch.

The completed version of my sketch from the previous post. Enjoy!

Since I’ve drawn most of my readily available models more times than I can count, I thought I’d branch out a bit. After a long few days, i’m jumping back in with a pinup portrait (sort of fan art) of the lovely SuicideGirl and burlesque dancer Bettina May of Pretty Things Peep show.

Quick update:
I’ve been working on setting up a new computer as my old one decided to die on me. It hasn’t left me with as much time to draw as I’d like, but I did do a little sketching for something new today.
I got this finished up and submitted yesterday afternoon. I’m fairly happy with the final image. If you’re interested, check out the other submissions at ConceptArt.org! Feel free to vote for me while you’re at it! Poll will close on January 18th.

It’s been awhile since I took a stab at one of ConceptArt.org’s Character of the Week challenges. I thought this week’s sounded interesting, so here is my current work in progress:

Today looks like it’s mostly going to consist of getting ready for New Year’s, so I did a quick sketch this morning right after getting up. I want to increase my comfort with doing backgrounds, so here’s a quick landscape sketch!

Everyone have a great New Year’s Eve and please come visit my site again next year!
Quick, rough portrait. I’m trying to get faster at these. This one was maybe 30 minutes worth of sketching and rendering.
Just a cutesy little quickie. I love octopi.
